This page is dedicated to the memory of three beloved pets lost to us and to our many guests who knew and loved them. You will always be a part of the Lazy Dog Ranch.
Thor, our second Bernese Mountain Dog rescue. You came to us as a two year old with a troubled history only to blossom into the ranch mascot. You even have your own Facebook page, as your admirers wanted to follow your antics. We sadly said goodbye to you in 2016. We will think of you as the overgrown puppy that you were....sitting by the firepit usually on someone's toes.
Mack, our gorgeous German Shepherd. You were a gentle giant that loved everyone you met. We always suspected that you were part mountain lion (128 plus pounds of pure stealth!). You were the best traveling companion; always game for a roadtrip. Smart, sweet, playful and loyal: what more can you wish for in a companion. We miss you every day.
Carmen, our little white donkey. Not only were you Maggie's mother, but you were her best friend. Your personality shined through your shyness. We are honored to have been given the opportunity to adopt you and your daughter into our family. Rest in peace.
Misty, our beautiful black quarter horse. We adopted you in Las Vegas and brought you here to the ranch with your pal Patron. What a joy to see you in this new environment. We remember the first time you saw a deer...at age 16! Your gentle soul and manner gave riding pleasure to many of our friends ( especially John Harrington and John O'Neill) and family ( Paul McCormack and Zach and Zoe Gregoric). Bless you, Misty.
